Update

The update has been tested and will be pushed out across campus over the weekend.

New update for Solstice devices has been released and is currently being tested.

Vendor has identified the issue and is working on a patch for Solstice devices.  Engineers will verify this patch works and will update when it has been deployed.

We have received reports indicating that the issue may be related to a compatibility issue with iOS 27. Devices running iOS 26 or earlier versions are not affected. Investigation is ongoing.

Engineers have identified an issue with the wireless discovery service that prevents laptops and mobile devices from finding AirPlay and Miracast wireless displays (Mersive Solstice) in classrooms and conference rooms. This issue is also affecting Assistive Listening broadcasts in select campus locations.

Workaround: If your device doesn't list the display, you can still connect by entering the IP address shown on the display's screen.

The cause is an underlying issue in the network architecture, and resolving it will take some time. Network Engineering Services (NES) is developing a plan and will share a timeline in a future update.
