In partnership with the Office of Civil Rights Compliance, ITS is providing a quick method to add BMindful Holy Days to your M365 calendar. The calendar lists the major religious holy days where religious observers are likely to stay home from work or school. The calendar was reviewed and approved by the Consultation for Religious Communities of Johnson County and the Inter-Religious Council of Linn County. The local convention and visitors' bureau is committed to updating the calendar yearly to ensure event organizers have a list of dates through the upcoming four years.

Choose your calendar type below and follow the short instructions:

BMindful Holiday Files (updated 2/11/25)

Microsoft Outlook for Windows
  1. Download the BMindful Holiday file(s) to your computer
  2. In Microsoft Outlook, click File, then Open & Export, then Import/Export
  3. Select Import an iCalendar (.ics) or vCalendar file (.vcs), then select Next
  4. Browse to the .ics file downloaded in step 1, select OK
  5. You will be prompted "Do you want to open this calendar as a new calendar or import its items into your calendar?" -- select Open as new or Import

Microsoft Outlook for Mac
  1. Download the BMindful Holiday file(s) to your computer
  2. In Microsoft Outlook for Mac, at the bottom of the navigation pane click the Calendar icon
  3. In the Finder, browse to the .ics file downloaded in step 1 and drag the .ics file to the Outlook Calendar grid or list

Outlook on the web
  1. Download the Bmindful Holiday file(s) to your computer
  2. Log in to Outlook on the web with your HawkID and HawkID password
  3. Click the Outlook icon
  4. Select the Calendar icon
  5. In the left menu bar, select Add Calendar, then Upload From File
  6. Select Browse, and navigate to the .ics file downloaded in step 1, select Open
  7. Choose your desired calendar from the dropdown menu
  8. Select Import
