This is for applications that require dedicated resources for MS SQL server. The charge is to cover the portion of the campus SQL agreement.
Does ITS provide a cheaper way to access MS SQL server.
ITS has a free Microsoft SQL hosted server and Oracle hosted server. These work for applications that don’t need highly specialized access or configurations that require “Systems Administrator” access. This is targeted for applications that need to have a devoted system.
On the managed solution, can I get DBA, System Admin or VMware support for 1 hour per month?

I want to manage a machine myself, can I get that option?
Yes, we will provide a default configuration for $70 per month. If you choose to not use our management tools that is your option.
I have a test machine that I want to run in server environment. What is the cost?
$45 per month ($70 host cost - $25 Test/Development credit).
I have a test machine that is having performance problems now that I have 200 users on the system.
Consider moving the machine to a production environment and upgrading some of the resources.
I have a managed machine and want to recover from a backup. How do I do that?
Submit a request via the ITS Help Desk and ITS will do the restore.

Backups and restores for this machine are your responsibility.
