If you are, or believe you could become, the victim of technology assisted harassment, below are some of the tools available to you to limit access and protect your personal information.
Directory Listings (online white pages)
DO THIS FIRST - Remove your information from the University Directory.
- Students - https://myui.uiowa.edu/my-ui/student/records/documents/student-data-restriction.page (This process takes approximately 10 minutes.)
- Faculty/Staff - Home listings are restricted by default and should be hidden unless you have changed the default in HR Self Service. To restrict your work listings, contact UI Police (335-5022) or UI Threat Assessment (384-2955).
Access to Your UI Services (MyUI, ICON, Office 365 email)
- Change your HawkID password - https://hawkid.uiowa.edu
