There is a single Bitbucket Server instance provided to campus, broken down into different projects. Projects are typically organized at the departmental level, with the department's repositories stored in the project. Each project has an administrator that can manage it. This includes changing project settings and creating new repos. Each project has unlimited repos under it.

Projects can also be created for cross-departmental projects where different units are working together on code.
