On Saturday, February 13, 2016 between midnight and 3:00 AM, ITS will:

Upgrade software on all Cisco 5596 End of Row switches

Which data center – The Lindquist Center Facility (LC14)

Expected impact on services – Each  switch will require a power reset at the end of the software update to apply a micro-code update to the power supplies. The main update should have no impact, but the subsequent power cycle will cause an outage. The power cycle should take no more than a few minutes.

Please do not schedule major IT work on Saturday, February 13, 2016, between the hours of midnight and 3:00 AM.
