User Access - Requesting user access to on-campus GitLab groups.

  • User access is controlled through membership in either the IT-Professionals AD group or the GitLab-Access AD group for people who don't have an IT classification.
  • Non IT-Professionals will have to request access to be added to the GitLab-Access group.
  • Non-HawkID users will need to be invited to create a guest account and it will need to be added to the GitLab-Access AD group.

Once user access is established through one of the methods above via the request form, users should log in to https://git.uiowa.edu to auto-provision their accounts.
