If you plan to use Microsoft Teams, we recommend you download the Teams client.   This will give you full functionality, and allows you to constantly monitor Teams activity and receive notifications.

Windows IE 

  1. Log into Office365 (https://office365.uiowa.edu) and select the Teams tile.
  2. When you see "Want an even faster, more collaborative experience? Download the desktop app.", select Download now and follow the prompts to install.

Mac

  1. Log into Office365 (https://office365.uiowa.edu) and select the Teams tile.
  2. Select Download Microsoft teams for Mac.
  3. Open Teams_osx.dmg.
  4. Drag Microsoft Teams folder to the Applications folder.
  5. When prompted, enter your Hawkid@uiowa.edu and Hawkid password.
  6. Click Authenticate.
  7. Open Microsoft Teams.
  8. On the Microsoft Teams screen, enter Hawkid@uiowa.edu and your Hawkid password.

iOS

  1. Download Teams from the AppStore.  
  2. In the "Sign-in address" field, enter your Hawkid@uiowa.edu.  
  3. Touch Sign In.   
  4. Touch on the Welcome to Microsoft Teams screen, and swipe through the tutorial.
  5. When prompted, select Enable Notifications or Skip (if you selected "Enable Notifications", then tap Allow).

Android

  1. Download Teams from the Play Store.  
  2. In the "Sign-in address" field, enter your Hawkid@uiowa.edu.  
  3. Touch Sign In.  
  4. Enter your Hawkid password.
  5. Touch Sign In.  
  6. Touch on the Welcome to Microsoft Teams screen.
  7. Swipe through the tutorial, then touch Got it.
