Instructions after you purchase a Minitab Network license via the ITS Campus Software Office. When you order a license a license file will be created.
Deployment: Please forward this proof of license with the request for deployment from the ITS-ECM group. Specify platform (Windows, Mac, Linux) and if it is a single install or network license.
Once you receive the license file, replace the existing license file(s) with the new license file(s).
- The license file (minitab.lic) is located by default at C:\Program Files\Minitab\License Manager.
- Restart the Minitab License Manager service.
- In other Windows versions, choose Start > Run. Type services.msc and click OK.
- Click Minitab License Manager.
- Choose Action > Restart.
