For Healthcare members who are unable to use AnyConnect - UI VPN with their HawkID and HawkID password to access RDSS, there are 3 other connection options:

  • Remote Access Citrix ( - recommended
  • RPD through Remote Access Citrix (this has to be requested by the end-user and is generally restricted) 
  • VPN (Heavily restricted.  No unmanaged devices are allowed on the VPN.  It has to be a managed healthcare workstation from off-campus to access this service.) 


To connect to RDSS using Remote Access Citrix:

  1. Login to Remote Access Citrix:
  2. Open the app "Network Drive Office 2016" (this may be in Apps and can be added to Favorites to see it on the first screen)
  3. Select the U: drive
