Included with our Qualtrics license agreement is free support and training directly from the award winning support team at Qualtrics, available 24/7 via chat, email and phone. If you have a specific problem or concern, you can contact Qualtrics support by email, chat, or phone following the directions below.
Please note: As of August 19, 2020, Qualtrics users seeking phone support will also be required to login to their Support Portal in order to connect with Qualtrics Support. For more information about this change, please see the section titled "Phone Support Changes" towards the bottom of this page.
To contact Qualtrics Support via Phone, Email or Chat:
Qualtrics requires users to login with your UI Qualtrics account to submit an Email support ticket, to use their Chat feature, or to speak to a support rep via Phone. Please follow the steps below to login at the support portal and access Qualtrics Support.
- To access the Qualtrics Support Portal, go to https://www.qualtrics.com/support-center/.
- When you are prompted to login, please click the Sign in with SSO link as shown here:
- On the next page, enter your Organization ID (uiowa) as shown below. Then click Continue.
You will then enter your Qualtrics username (your Hawk ID) and password if prompted to sign in.
- On the resulting screen, select the options illustrated in the figure below when prompted:
A) Select "I have a different support request" from support request options.
B) Select "Survey Platform" from the drop-down menu.
C) Select Phone, Email and Chat from the options that appear at the bottom of the page.
Phone Support Changes:
As of August 19, 2020, Qualtrics users seeking phone support will be required to login to their Support Portal in order to connect with Qualtrics Support. This change is a required security update that continues to ensure the utmost privacy of user accounts, including preventing anyone from posing as another user. Email and chat support have already required authentication as of May 13, 2019, and we are now bringing phone support up to parity with all support contact methods.
When accessing the Support Portal, users will need to login with their Qualtrics account credentials. Please note that the Qualtrics Support team will only be able to provide support assistance for the account that you use to authenticate. To access the Support Portal, please skip down to the section titled "Login to the Qualtrics Support Portal" below.

- Qualtrics "Log Out" Option:
Because Qualtrics uses single sign-on authentication (Shibboleth) at the University of Iowa, you will need to close all instances of your browser in order to completely "log out" of the software. Simply selecting "Log Out" will not log you out of the software.
