If the message content is plain text but was composed in MS Word, the author should copy and paste the message text into a new email message. Do not send plain text as an attachment.
Otherwise, we recommend posting the message content on a departmental web server and send the URL for that web page to the list. This offers several benefits, among them:
- The message content is stored centrally and can be updated without having to resend to the list.
- The problems related to sending large messages (quotas, etc.) are bypassed.
