Lumen, the university's telephony service provider, has identified an issue with outbound calling to Verizon Wireless lines. The Unified Communications team is actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates as additional information becomes available.
Unified Communications has received a number of reports of University provided telephony lines unable to reach Verizon Wireless lines that specifically contain Iowa City prefixes (319-XXX-1234). The Unified Communications team is continuing to monitor and investigate the issue.
