Microsoft Teams Telephony will be the primary phone service for the University of Iowa (not including University of Iowa Health Care).
Microsoft Teams Phone is a cloud-based phone system that integrates into the Microsoft Teams collaboration platform, allowing users to make and receive calls to landlines and mobile phones, in addition to their standard Teams audio and video calls. It acts as a full business PBX, providing features like call queues, call forwarding, voicemail, and call transfers within the familiar Teams interface on various devices, including Windows, Mac, iOS and Android.
