ITS-EI staff will be performing maintenance on a network switch located in the Chemistry Building. All devices and services connected through this switch will be temporarily impacted, including analog gateways and SIP phones that are registered to SBCs associated with the Chemistry Building switch. The outage is expected to last approximately 10 to 20 minutes while the network switch work is completed.

What to Expect:
During the maintenance window, dial tone service will be temporarily unavailable for the following systems / services:

• SIP phones registered to the SBCs
• Systems relying on analog gateways, including:
  • Elevator phones
  • Fire alarm panels
  • Area of Refuge communication systems
  • Classroom phones
