During the maintenance window, Top Hat may be unavailable and visitors will see a maintenance page. Any educator who has made an assignment due during or shortly after the maintenance window should consider changing the due date/time so that students have adequate time to complete them.

Service Degradation - Multiple Services
We're aware that several major AI platforms are currently experiencing service outages affecting users globally, including:
- Claude (Anthropic)
- ChatGPT (OpenAI)
- Gemini (Google)
Impact: Users may be unable to access these AI services or may experience degraded performance.
Status: The providers are investigating. At this point we have not observed direct impacts to campus users.

[Closed] Planned Maintenance - Printing in Computer Labs (ITCs)
Maintenance on the PaperCut printing service will temporarily make ITC Printing, Web Print, and Mobile Release unavailable. Departmental printing services may also experience brief interruptions as print servers are restarted. Services will be restored as soon as maintenance activities are complete.
Service Degradation - ICON
Some users may have difficulty logging into MAUI in ICON. ITS staff are working on resolving this issue. Switching to the Chrome web browser is recommended to access MAUI in ICON at the moment.
Service Degradation - Microsoft Teams Phone - VoIP Phone Degradation of Service
The Unified Communications team is aware of multiple issues currently affecting VoIP phones on campus. Devices most affected are the following models: VVX201, VVX311, VVX501, and Poly E100. If there is any sort of interruption of service with your phone, it is advised to power cycle the phone by unplugging the data and power from the back of the phone (leave power off the phone for at least a minute). [Closed] Planned Maintenance - GitLab Research & Academic
GitLab Research & Academic will be unavailable on Friday, August 28th starting at 8:00pm to perform maintenance. We anticipate the downtime will be less than 10 minutes.
[Closed] Service Degradation - Campus Data Network Connectivity, Dental Science Building
Network connectivity is currently impacted in portions of DSB due to a network switch being down. Users in the affected area may experience a loss of wired and/or wireless network connectivity.
A network engineer is en route to investigate and restore service. Additional updates will be provided as they become available.
