[Closed] Service Degradation - Microsoft Teams Phone - Local Landis Application unavailable
We have received reports that the local Landis Contact Center application is currently unavailable within Microsoft Teams for some users. The vendor has confirmed the issue and is actively working on a resolution.
As a temporary workaround, users may access the Landis web client here: https://cc.landis.cloud.
This issue does not impact all Teams telephony users—only those using the Landis Contact Center in Teams.

There will be a maintenance event for New Quizzes in ICON on February 01, 2026 from 06:02 AM – 09:02 AM EST (11:02 - 14:02 UTC).
Actual downtime for New Quizzes is expected to last up to 10 minutes during the event, but the full duration of the window is needed.
All other functions of ICON are expected to remain operational.

During the maintenance window, Top Hat may be unavailable and visitors will see a maintenance page. Any educator who has made an assignment due during or shortly after the maintenance window should consider changing the due date/time so that students have adequate time to complete them

The Jamf service will be upgraded to version 11.24. There should be no interruption of services to clients.

[Closed] Service Announcement - UI-Guest Wi-Fi
WPA3 will be enabled on the UI-Guest network starting Tuesday, January 27th at 10:00 AM. This transition will enhance our network security and ensure compliance with modern standards.
We are starting with UI-Guest to allow testing and plan to enable transition mode on eduroam before the end of the semester.
We will be using WPA3 Transition mode, which allows for a smooth migration by supporting both WPA2 and WPA3 connections.
Most devices should not experience any issues during this transition. However, older devices (those manufactured prior to 2020) may encounter connectivity problems due to
[Closed] Service Degradation - Virtual Desktop - Citrix Workspace
ITS is investigating an issue where the Citrix Workspace application is not passing through Single Sign-On (SSO) credentials on certain campus computers. As a result, users may need to manually log-in to Workspace using their HawkID and password.
If an error message is still showing up, please try this temporary workaround:
- Click the Settings icon in the top-left corner of Citrix Workspace.
- Select Accounts…
- Click Add.
- Enter your university email address and select Continue.
- When prompted with “Do you want to use the information provided by virtualdesktop.uiowa.edu to configure your account?” select

Linux software mirrors will be down for maintenance during this period.
[Closed] Planned Maintenance - Oracle Hosting and Administration - PeopleSoft Financials, PREQs, e-Vouchers and Receiving
ITS will be upgrading the Oracle database (FSYS) for PeopleSoft Financials. During the maintenance window PeopleSoft Financials will be unavailable and processing will be suspended. The ePro applications (PREQs, e-Vouchers and Receiving) will also be unavailable.
