We have received reports that the local Landis Contact Center application is currently unavailable within Microsoft Teams for some users. The vendor has confirmed the issue and is actively working on a resolution.

As a temporary workaround, users may access the Landis web client here: https://cc.landis.cloud.

This issue does not impact all Teams telephony users—only those using the Landis Contact Center in Teams.

WPA3 will be enabled on the UI-Guest network starting Tuesday, January 27th at 10:00 AM. This transition will enhance our network security and ensure compliance with modern standards.

We are starting with UI-Guest to allow testing and plan to enable transition mode on eduroam before the end of the semester.

We will be using WPA3 Transition mode, which allows for a smooth migration by supporting both WPA2 and WPA3 connections.  

Most devices should not experience any issues during this transition. However, older devices (those manufactured prior to 2020) may encounter connectivity problems due to

ITS is investigating an issue where the Citrix Workspace application is not passing through Single Sign-On (SSO) credentials on certain campus computers. As a result, users may need to manually log-in to Workspace using their HawkID and password.

If an error message is still showing up, please try this temporary workaround:

  1. Click the Settings icon in the top-left corner of Citrix Workspace.
  2. Select Accounts…
  3. Click Add.
  4. Enter your university email address and select Continue.
  5. When prompted with “Do you want to use the information provided by virtualdesktop.uiowa.edu to configure your account?” select
