[Closed] Planned Maintenance - Campus Data Network Connectivity, Multiple Buildings
ITS will be migrating some of the wired networks located in the listed buildings to the campus fabric. Wireless services will not be impacted.
There will be a brief interruption of network connectivity during the window.
[Closed] Service Degradation - Multiple Services
Some University of Iowa sites such as MyUI, ICON, and Employee Self Service were failing to load after login. The issue should now be resolved.
[Closed] Service Degradation - High Performance Computing
Some users are currently unable to access Argon due to networking issues. Affected users may receive an error message like “Could not chdir to home directory /Users/hawkid: No such file or directory” when trying to access their Argon home directory or are unable to authenticate to the login nodes.
[Closed] Planned Maintenance - ICON
The ICON Dashboard servers will be upgraded during a maintenance window, Thursday 9/19, from 9-11 am.
No downtime is expected for users.
[Closed] Planned Maintenance - Multiple Services, Dental Science Building
Wireless services will be unavailable for a period of up to 5 minutes while access points are rebooted following a configuration change. This change will address wireless channel congestion issues in the building.
[Closed] Service Degradation - Multiple Services, Bowman House
Bowman House (BH) has lost all network connectivity. A Network Engineer is currently investigating.

ITS will be migrating some of the wired cross connect cables in the buildings below. Wired and wireless services with both be affected.

Managed Windows Servers will be undergoing monthly patching during their normally scheduled maintenance window.

[Closed] Planned Maintenance - Data Center Operations & Services
There will be three separate ITS NES datacenter network refresh project changes taking place on the September Infrastructure Day. The first involves the Lindquist datacenter, and the second two will take place at the Information Technology Facility (ITF).
1. Routing will be changed for global-scope and local-scope networks used by ITS Enterprise Infrastructure (EI) managed or hosted servers in the LC datacenter. This work affects both general and secure server networks. All other LC networks (customer-managed, storage, or non-EI tenants) are not in scope. For each network change, all servers
[Closed] Planned Maintenance - Dispatch
Dispatch will be unavailable as its database server undergoes quarterly security patching. If you use Dispatch's API to push communications, please pause sending requests during this maintenance window. If you have any scheduled communications that would go out during the outage, they will be picked up when the application comes back online.
