[Closed] Planned Maintenance - PaperCut and Print Server Software Upgrade
PaperCut will be updating its software during this time. This includes the PaperCut Application server and the print servers. The following printing services will be down during the maintenance window:
Printing in the ITCs
Web print for the ITCs
Web interface for PaperCut
Printing to charge printers
Printing that requires the use of the PaperCut Client software
Printing to IOWAPRINT01, IOWAPRINT02, IOWAPRINT03, and IOWAPRINT04 will be interrupted as the PaperCut software running on each is patched and the server restarted. However, it will not be down for the entire maintenance

Due to a remote code execution vulnerability in IPv6 that requires immediate attention, an accelerated patching schedule will be followed for the August updates.
-Test servers will be patched Wednesday August 14 from 10:00pm to 12:00am.
-Production servers will be patched during a rolling window from Thursday August 15 10:00pm to Friday August 16th at 6:00am.

[Closed] Outage - Data Center Operations & Services
ITF end-of-row Switch Failure. EI-NES has been alerted to an end-of-row switch failure in the ITF data center affecting the CF row. This is a research row. Potentially impacted customers include:
-Psychiatry
-CCOM
-CLAS
-ITS-RS
The fix will be migrating network uplinks from the failed switch to the new data center fabric switches. An update will be provided shortly.

The University of Iowa Mobile App will be unavailable during this maintenance window.
[Closed] Service Degradation - Microsoft Copilot
Microsoft Copilot (https://copilot.microsoft.com) is currently experiencing a degradation of service and is not letting some users sign in. If you are already logged into Copilot, it functions as expected, but will not let you sign back in if you log out.
[Closed] Service Degradation - Microsoft Skype for Business - Clarity Connect
Clarity Connect users are unable to sign into Skype for Business via the browser. Staff can take calls via their Skype client and this should have no affect on data tracking or reports. ITS is investigating.
[Closed] Planned Maintenance - Large Scale Storage (LSS)
During this time frame there will be a temporary network outage which will result in LSS shares not being available.

IDAS will be unavailable during this time.
