    • This introductory level training will help you discover how Copilot Chat works, explore its capabilities, and learn practical tips for effective interactions. We'll talk about how to navigate the interface, tips for prompt generation, and discuss use cases for the tool throughout the training.

  • Microsoft 365 Copilot: Getting Started with AI at Iowa

    An introductory overview of Microsoft 365 Copilot at Iowa, including what it is, where it shows up in Microsoft 365, and key basics for responsible use.

  • Microsoft 365 Copilot in the Apps: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Teams

    A hands-on session showing how Copilot works inside the core Microsoft apps using a single scenario, from drafting/structuring content to analyzing simple tables and summarizing meetings with action items. Participants need a Microsoft 365 Copilot add-on license to follow along.

  • Getting Started with Copilot in Excel

    A hands-on session focused on how Microsoft 365 Copilot can support everyday spreadsheet work. Using a realistic Excel workbook, participants learn how to clean and standardize messy data, generate formulas and summaries, explain existing formulas in natural language, and analyze open-ended feedback using sentiment analysis. Participants who want to follow along in Excel should have the elevated Microsoft 365 Copilot license, which may appear as M365 Copilot (Premium). Teams Premium alone does not include Copilot in Excel. Basic familiarity with Excel is helpful, and no prior AI experience is required.
