Microsoft SQL Server Hosting and Administration
The Data & Monitoring team in ITS-EI Technology Platform Services provides MS SQL Server Database Management and Administration Services. These services include the physical design, implementation and maintenance of the database as well as data security, data integrity, backup/recovery, performance monitoring, and tuning. Database migration consulting and services are also provided.
This service is typically used by IT Professionals: Faculty, Staff, and Researchers should work with their local IT support group (such as Extended Technical Support) or application focused sysadmin to coordinate consultations and service requests.

Fees
Typically, this service is funded through GEF allocations and is provided free of charge.
Exceptions to this are for those Business Units who generate their own revenue (e.g. University Housing, Parking & Transportation, Student Life Centers, and Facilities Management) and for research grants.
