How to make an Internal and External call

Internal

  1. Click the Calls icon on the left sidebar
  2. Use the dial pad and search by users name
  3. Click on users name.  This will put users name in the box
  4. Click on the Call button at the bottom of the dial pad

External

  1. Click the Calls icon on the left sidebar
  2. Use the dial pad and type the full 10 digit phone number
  3. Click the Call button at the bottom of the dial pad

How to Answer a call

When a call comes in, a pop-up notification will appear in the lower right corner of your screen.  You can do one of the following:

  • Accept - Answer with Audio
  • Decline - Rejects the call and sends to voicemail

How to Place a call on Hold

  1. Once you are in a call, click on Hold in the tool bar at the top of your call (caller will hear hold music)
  2. To resume your call, click on Resume in the tool bar at the top of your call

How to Transfer a Call

You can transfer calls with or without speaking to the recipient first

Blind Transfer:

  1. Click the Transfer button at the top in the tool bar
  2. Click Transfer in the drop down menu (caller will be placed on hold)
  3. Type in name or phone number of person you want to transfer to
    1. You can choose to transfer to Audio Call, work voicemail or work number
    2. You can choose to Ring back if there's no answer, so caller comes back to you
    3. You can also choose Include a topic for the recipient
  4. Click Transfer button  
  5. Call will end with you

Consult then Transfer:

  1. Click the Transfer button at the top in the tool bar
  2. Click Consult then Transfer (caller will be placed on hold)
  3. Type in name or phone number of person you want to transfer to
  4. Click Start a call and choose users phone number
  5. After consulting, then click Transfer

How to Mute and Unmute

To mute yourself

  • Click the microphone icon during the call in the upper right corner

To unmute

  • Click the microphone icon again
