Give a User the Ability to Add/Remove Other Users to your RDSS Space

You may delegate the ability to manage your RDSS permissions to other individuals. To do so:

  1. Go to:  https://iam.uiowa.edu/access
  2. On the left column, under Services -> RDSS, click on the RDSS-hawkid you wish to change (you may see more than one if you have been delegated rights to other RDSS spaces).  Below is an example

  3. Click on the Gear icon:

  4. Click on Roles tab:
      
    Roles
  5. Click on the Add button:
     
    Add Role
  6. Under Members, type in the HawkID of the user you would like to Add (you may add multiple people): 
  7. Enter in the HawkID of the user you would like to add
  8. Click on the Search icon:
     
    Search Roles
  9. Pick the ID of the user you wish to use from the drop down menu that appears
  10. Check the box next to Manager:
     
    Manager Check Box
  11. Click on the Accept button:
     
    Roles Accept

Remove the Ability of a User to Add/Remove Other Users to your RDSS Space

  1. Go to:  https://iam.uiowa.edu/access
  2. Click on the Gear icon:
     
    Gear Icon
  3. Click on Resource Roles tab:
    Resource Roles
  4. Click on the box next to any HawkID you wish to remove
  5. Click on the Remove button:
     
    Roles Remove
  6. A window will pop up confirming your selection(s).
  7. If everything is correct, click on the Accept button:
     
    Roles Remove Accept
