If you're new to Puppet Enterprise, you will first need a control repository to manage your environment. See here for help on setting one up. 

Connecting nodes to Puppet Enterprise: 

• Install/update agent software.
  • Node agent packages can be found on your Puppet Enterprise server
    • (e.g. https://pe2021-<your server>.its.uiowa.edu:8140/packages/current/ )
• Change the value of "server" in puppet.conf to your Puppet Enterprise server's fully qualified domain name
• The Puppet Enterprise server will need to approve the certificate of the node, unless you wish autosigning to be enabled
