Zoom allows for 2 different types of hosts.

The first is a co-host. A co-host is a participant that can be granted co-host rights after the meeting has started.

The second is an alternate host. The host sets an alternate host at the time of the meeting creation. They can also add additional alternate hosts by editing the meeting after the meeting has started. Unlike a co-host, an alternate host can start a meeting for the host.
