Students have two options for connecting to the Internet in the Residence Halls:

  1. Wireless - All residence halls are equipped for eduroam throughout, follow this guide to connect to eduroam.
  2. The ResNet high-speed network - In order to connect to ResNet, the University's high-speed network in the residence halls, you will need an Ethernet cable and a computer with a network interface card, learn more about connecting to ResNet here.
  3. UI-DeviceNet - This is an option available for wireless-only devices like Smart TVs that do not have secure connection capabilities to connect to eduroam. Devices must be registered before they can be used on this network. Register your device and find instructions on connecting to UI-DeviceNet here.
