Enterprise Services
Enterprise Services (ES) serves as the touchpoint for most students, faculty, and staff who interact with IT. ES partners with University of Iowa Health Care on many services.
ES is responsible for:
- Managing many of the “core” IT services that people use every day (Microsoft 365, Teams, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, Zoom, Qualtrics, etc.)
- Providing technical support to students, faculty, and staff through the Help Desk, and offering Extended Technical Support for departments across campus.
- Managing and delivering software licenses to campus.
- Providing technology training.
- Assisting the campus in navigating evolving AI-powered tools.
- Managing the IT Service Management platform (Halo) and associated processes.
- Leading Windows and MacOS client services, device management, and asset inventory.
- Managing the ITS Website and the IT Service Alerts.
