Some University Classrooms are presenting users with a blank black screen or black screen with a single cursor during use or when arriving at a classroom. 

ITS Learning Spaces staff are working on these issues with equipment vendors. Users experiencing these issues are advised to switch inputs off “PC” to another input and then back to “PC” to resolve this issue and if necessary to restart the classroom computer to resolve these issues. For continued issues and any other classroom technology concerns, please contact the ITS Help Desk for further troubleshooting assistance.

The following printing services will be affected:

Printing in the ITCs
Web print for the ITCs
Web interface for PaperCut
Printing to charge printers
Printing that requires the use of the PaperCut Client software

Printing to print queues on IOWAPRINT01, IOWAPRINT02, IOWAPRINT03, and IOWAPRINT04 will not be affected unless it requires the PaperCut client software.
