SiteNow's hosting provider will be performing maintenance. Some applications may experience a temporary degradation of service.
[Closed] Service Announcement - Microsoft SQL Server Hosting and Administration
The shared SQL Server production data mart system IOWASQLDMHOST3 will be upgraded from SQL Server 2016 to SQL Server 2019. The new SQL Server 2019 system will have network connectivity restricted to ITS data centers and, on request, static IP addresses on wired campus building machines. These SQL Server databases will no longer be open to campus wireless or VPN.
Additionally, some clients may need to update their connection strings to use the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the database server (e.g. IOWASQLDMHOST3.iowa.uiowa.edu). For more information about this migration, please review S

[Closed] Planned Maintenance - Data Center Operations & Services
As part of our ongoing efforts to reduce packet loss and latency within the datacenter network, we are replacing two old optics that currently increment FCS errors causing re-transmissions and packet loss. These interfaces are critical as they connect the legacy environment to the new fabric at ITF.

While unlikely, there is the possibility for a brief blip in service for each of these changes.
We will also decommission an old Fex on lc-30, allowing us to free up space for more device migrations.
[Closed] Planned Maintenance - JAMF Pro Apple Device Management
The Jamf service will be upgraded to version 11.11.1. There should be no interruption of services to our clients.
[Closed] Service Degradation - Multiple Services - Eduroam
Network Services is aware of connectivity issues with the campus wireless service.
Eduroam, UI-DeviceNet, and UI-Guest are affected.

ITS will be upgrading the wireless network to address security and performance issues.
During the maintenance window some wireless devices may experience connectivity issues for short periods of time.
[Closed] Planned Maintenance - PeopleSoft Financials
ITS will be applying application updates to PeopleSoft Financials. During the maintenance window the application will be unavailable and processing will be suspended. The ePro applications (PREQs, e-Vouchers and Receiving) will also be unavailable.

Some SiteNow sites are experiencing a service interruption due to a recent maintenance that SiteNow's hosting provider provided. Some websites may experience a temporary degradation of service. SiteNow staff are currently working to restore service to these sites as soon as possible.
