The ICON Direct eReader has been updated to VitalSource.

Important Notes:

  • Upon opening an eText in the VitalSource eReader, you will need to accept the VitalSource Terms of Use - this will only need to be completed once, when the eReader is accessed for the first time.
  • The VitalSource eReader requires 3rd party cookies to be enabled in order to work correctly (and for Safari users, there's an additional setting that needs to be toggled); more information about this can be found in this Unizin article.

ITS will implement a daily sending limit for student email accounts on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. This first phase will focus on students without current employee roles and will be followed by another phase to include student employees. The final goal is expansion to all accounts which will include faculty and staff. The primary driver behind this change is to limit the spread of phishing attacks when an account is compromised. When a bad actor gains access to a university account, they typically move quickly to send large volumes of phishing emails to other members of our community. By capping
