Outages & Service Degradations
Service Degradation - ICON
Canvas is having a problem with submitting assignments via dragging and dropping files into a file upload assignment. The workaround to submit a file to an assignment is to click "Start Assignment", click the rocket graphic to open files, then select the file and click "Submit Assignment". ITS staff are working with the vendor on resolving this issue.
Service Degradation - Multiple Services
Students using an iPad to take an ICON exam with LockDown Browser enabled are unable to access the quiz. Users report seeing a "LockDown Browser is required" error message even though they are inside the LockDown Browser. Additionally, navigating to the next question multiple times can cause the exam to produce the "LockDown Browser is required" error. ITS is currently investigating this issue.
At this time, do not use iPads for Lockdown Browser quizzes. ITC computers on campus do have Respondus Lockdown Browser installed. Checkout laptops at the Main Library also have the software installed.
