Digital Signage Support Team

  • Technical contact for the website, https://signage.sites.uiowa.edu.
  • Will help with initial group creation and ownership within the website.
  • For online managed devices, will assist pointing to a sign.
  • For online managed devices, will help with triaging issues.
  • Will provide other general support and training opportunities for Campus Signage.

UI Health Care

Hardware Signage Support

Contact: OneIT-Signage-Hardware in Cherwell

  • Will configure and manage updates for the managed devices
  • Will help with diagnosing issues with the device imaging
  • Will help with issues like resolution changes, device can't fully boot (can't sign in, can't connect to eduroam, browser won't start/load)
  • Will provide bootable drives for ETS use.
  • Will assist with swipe display type requests.

Building/Unit/Department Extended Technical Support (ETS) 

Contact: Departments utilizing Extended Technical Support (ETS)

  • In charge of purchasing all hardware needed to run a digital sign (TV, compute stick, etc.)
  • In charge of purchasing services provided through Networking if needed
  • Will be responsible for plugging setting up compute stick device to display and any hardware issues that arise with equipment

UI Health Care

Cherwell / Help Desk Ticket Type:  Hardware & Software Services >  Computer & Hardware Management >  Deploy/Set Up New Hardware

  • Will assist with any UI Health Care managed devices, locations.
