There is no charge for use of this service.
The data center proxy service provides customers of the ITS Virtual Service, ITS physical servers, or co-location customers a means to access the Internet via an HTTP or HTTPS proxy in situations where all of the following are true:
- The system is on a subnet protected by the datacenter firewall.
- There is a desire to restrict access to the Internet based on an allowed exceptions DNS name space.
- The destination is using standard HTTP/HTTPS TCP ports (80 and 443).
- The application is able to be configured to use a web proxy.
