Most UI faculty and staff members have heard of “the Herdbook” (AKA the university directory), but no one seems to know how it came to be known as the Herdbook.

As it turns out, ITS staff member Jason Wolcott has done some research on the topic and was able to provide a few clues in this unsolved university mystery.
