Popular uses include team notes or documentation, information sharing, or collaboration. Features of the wiki include threaded discussion, embedded media, and revision history.

The Wiki (https://uiowa.atlassian.net/wiki) is currently down. We are investigating the issue and will update when we know more.
On January 8th, 2024 the University of Iowa Wiki hosted at https://wiki.uiowa.edu will be shut down permanently. If you would like to continue using Confluence (Wiki) in the Cloud, you will need to request licenses by filling out this Workflow form if you haven't done so already.

There are issues logging into services such as ICON, Wiki, Employee Self-Service, Clarity Connect (call center phone systems across campus), Virtual Desktop, MAUI, MyUI, Duo two-step login, Zoom, Cherwell, and eduroam. ITS staff are investigating.
Due to a recently disclosed critical security flaw from Atlassian, access to the wiki service (Confluence) has been scoped to on-campus or VPN-only access while Confluence is being patched.
Users who are located on campus will be able to access Confluence, while those off-campus should connect to the VPN service. Visit the Virtual Private Network (VPN) page for details on how to connect to the VPN.
Additionally, Confluence will be unavailable for short time periods of time while it is being patched.

UPDATE: Multiple university services are experiencing intermittent access issues. Web authentication through login.uiowa.edu and idp.uiowa.edu, ICON, wiki and other services are affected. ITS staff are aware of the issue and are actively working on a resolution. We will keep this page updated as more information is given to us.
