The wiki service offers a collaborative workspace for a variety of purposes, including departmental and instructional use. The wiki is a web-based tool for collaboration and discussion. Users are able to create and manage their own wiki space. Popular uses include team notes or documentation, information sharing, or collaboration with classmates and external researchers. Features of the wiki include threaded discussion, embedded media, revision history, and seamless integration with the ICON Dashboard. Wiki.uiowa.edu will be down for maintenance. The test instance of the Wiki (https://test-wiki.its.uiowa.edu) will be available for users who want to access information from wiki.uiowa.edu during that time. Any changes made in the test instance will not be transferred to wiki.uiowa.edu.

The University of Iowa Wiki Service (https://wiki.uiowa.edu/) will be upgraded to Confluence version 6.6.5, which includes several enhancements and bug fixes. The test instance of the Wiki will be available for users who want to access information from wiki.uiowa.edu, however, any edits made in Wiki Test will not be transfered to the main Wiki system.

UPDATE: Multiple university services are experiencing intermittent access issues. Web authentication through login.uiowa.edu and idp.uiowa.edu, ICON, wiki and other services are affected. ITS staff are aware of the issue and are actively working on a resolution. We will keep this page updated as more information is given to us.
